  i opened instagram up mid movie and saw a girl i used to go to elementary school with posted her engagement announcement. amplified whatever weird dread-adjacent feelings this movie was making me feel times 1000. it was good and interesting and actually relatable for about the first third of it, then it begins kind of veering off course that didn't really lead anywhere. but yeah, first like half of it felt like a slap in the face. representation for girls…
