    This is easily one of Michael Manns best works, especially regarding the performances by the lead actors. Al Pacino is much more nuanced than in „Heat“ and delivers a career highlight and is STIll overshadowed by Kurt Russels performance which is easily some of the best acting anybody has done in the 90s. 
    „The Insider“ might be the blueprint for a successful political thriller.
