The pre-orgy sequence was a bit too much.
Besides that: what a surprise! I was expecting something way shallower, way more outdated, but it feels great to be wrong! Zoolander is one of the great comedies of the 2000s, but it also carries an insane critique of pop culture and its industry. For Christ's sake, the whole plot revolves around U.S. imperialism and its inherent relation to capitalism!

    Renan's comfort movie.
Extremely funny, great songs, majestic editing and visuals, the first movie to genuinely capturate Gen Z energy.
It is extremely flawed though, and it all comes from an unnecessary hurry to adapt the books.
The movie was written with the help of O'Malley, who had not yet finished the series and was still developing how it would end (and how to properly present the message he intended), this situation turned the movie's plot on a slight mess…
