Boring!!!!

I’m hoping for the day when Vetri’s films become promising again like few years back. Nowadays his films getting worst with each release.
A comedy film with a super interesting storyline and great scope for humour, but the screenplay struggles to make the most of it. At least the first half is neat, while the second half is completely draggy. The climax is good. Only a few of the comedy scenes land well. Keerthy’s performance is the weakest part , she attempts a cartoonish style that ends up being highly irritating and doesn’t support the film. Suhas is, as usual, fine. Overall, the film could have been much more enjoyable and entertaining if it had been better written.
A light hearted, feel-good family drama. The film takes its time to set up the story at a slow and steady pace. The entire journey feels realistic and relatable. The multiple consequences are explained well without being preachy. It’s not just about the family’s dream, but also about how each character arc is written and portrayed , and that’s truly brilliant. Siddharth, Meetha, Sarathkumar, Devyani, and Chaitra all the performers are the soul of the film, each shining in their respective roles. Excellent songs. Definitely one of the warmest films in recent times. Simply beautiful.
A dystopian film with impressive visuals and VFX, especially considering its small budget. The team brilliantly achieved the desired look and feel. However, the writing falls completely flat. The film had high potential, but many elements were left incomplete and unexplored. Too many questions remain unanswered due to the rushed storytelling. It could have been much better with a stronger focus on the writing.
A comedy entertainer. As usual, it doesn’t have a proper story or screenplay, but it holds with good comedic value. There are many funny scenes, references, and parodies. The duo Sree Vishnu and Kishore help save the film with their frequent one liners and consistent efforts to entertain. Some so called romantic portions toward the end feel dull and draggy. Otherwise, it’s a mindless comedy film that’s a decent time-pass watch.
A family drama primarily based on the personal life of a social media influencer. A mix of both parody and emotions. The main plot only unfolds in the second half. The first half is only saved by some good humor. Dileep is good in his role, and Raaniya also deserves appreciation for her performance as Chinju Rani. It’s acceptable that the story only takes off in the second half, but the entire first half feels unnecessary with too many unwanted…
A heartwarming musical film, totally in contrast to Ram’s previous works. The entire film is treated with good humor, music, and subtle life lessons that are thought provoking. I loved how the frustrating journey of a father turns into a beautiful story of self discovery. The performances are the biggest strength of the film. Shiva is effortlessly entertaining, delivering every scene with perfect comedic timing. He is undoubtedly the most important part of the film, keeping it engaging till the…
A film based on a prison break with a damn interesting premise. The setup is amazing, with each and every character leaving a strong impression. The film is engaging from start to finish, but the biggest issue is that excessive cinematic liberties spoil its potential. There are too many logical loopholes that simply aren’t convincing. The climax twist is amazing, but again, logical issues arise at that point as well. A film that initially promises a grounded approach to filmmaking…
A light hearted entertainer that blends humour and horror. An interesting concept, using a TV serial as its central theme. This works well and adds relatability. The mix of comedy and horror is fun, and the scenes are written well, which made laugh and kept entertained. Good performances, especially the three main leads are perfect. However, the film fails to maintain interest in the second half. Even though the film picks up again towards the end, certain portions feel repetitive…
