Godzilla Minus One 2023
Everyone sort of knows what to expect from a Godzilla film but this had it's fair share of unexpected moments. Such a wonderful crafted film with a heartfelt message of community coming together when their government fails them. Beautifully shot, well-acted, and fiscally responsible visual effects. Hollywood, learn to do these things and perhaps you can start making money on movies again and save the cinema from its funeral march you're leading it to.

Not the nitrous burning, guzzoline chugging action ride that was Fury Road but still a visual spectacle of great world building with great characters.
