The Man Who Would Be King 1975
Peak Kipling. This is aesthetically similar to Zulu but often a lot prettier. I read the short story a while ago and this follows it exactly which is nice. Might just be me but I swear there are some unexpected parallels with Dune in the film as well.

You have to respect the vision and the scale. I'm glad it exists and all this money and time was spent bringing life to such an ambitious vision. It's aesthetically beautiful, like if Baz Luhrman directed Batman maybe. I love ancient Rome.
