    this was a very well shot film with a number of strong performances by the actors.
    unfortunately, the script is a mess. it's directionless and doesn't seem to have anything to say, combined with the fact that the main character is completely unlikable. i don't blame the actor, because he appears to be playine the part as written, but it's just not a character that i want to see come out on top or win, so when he turns out to be the main focus, there's no one to root for, and i just didn't care.

    i feel like this had a ton of potential, with a fun concept, and some good comedy. but the dialogue was clunky, and just didn't come off as natural, so i never really bought our two leads as genuine people. everyone seemed like decent actors, so i think it was a matter of tightening up the direction and also allowing them to work…
