Starts off classic de Palma, then transforms itself into a wonderful procedural, then devolves into conspiracy paranoia - all the while it is a very good movie, but then the ending comes to shock our very core, just like a primal scream. One of those films where the ending really transforms and elevates the entire film. Love it when de Palma is able to successfully Hitchcock and not just create a forgery.
