  Just as good, if not better, the second time!

  I really appreciated the music and some of the film’s more inventive scenes this time around:

  -the billiards room scene was very well done, perhaps the pinnacle of the film’s aesthetic
  -the hallucinatory scene near the finale was a masterclass in visual storytelling 
  -I love quirky jazz

  8/10 but really and truly considered giving it a 9

  Solid film with solid performances. The vibe, music and set design all created a really coherent experience that was well-executed.
