  I went with my burlesque girlies to watch this movie and that was very sweet!
  The movie itself? Unfortunately underwhelming. It was a very pretty, visually pleasing movie, but it didn’t carry much emotional weight for the poignant parts to be, well, poignant. No disrespect to Pam, but I think some parts were a little poorly performed/poorly directed. The script was bad. All of the interesting plot points or character traits did not get sufficiently explored. The montages were lazy…
