  Wow. What the fuck happened? Well, I know what happened, it's just a shame. So much hype for this and such a long wait and this is what we get. If the production quality was as high as the first episode through the whole series it would have been far better. The following episodes are noticeably worse with some animations being downright laughable. Such a waste of time I couldn't even bother to finish it.

  Is there a curse upon adapting Junji Ito's work? Mediocre adaptation after another. What's the point? Might as well just let his work stand on its own.

  I went in knowing little about this film, aside from the assumption it was about royalty? (Yikes, big uh oh for me). But it's Kubrick, so I'm sure he'll pull off something interesting. My god, it was amazing.
