this was the last of 3 short films by randy jade that i watched back to back at a romanian new wave film festival at ACMI. so by the time this movie started i knew not to expect anything from the plot but to just enjoy the ride. but wow this was entirely too stressful for me. not boring for a second, considering one again how short my attention span is. maybe family drama is just a bit too close…

It Can Pass Through the Wall 2014
it’s crazy this film managed to hold my attention through the entire length of it, considering i have a very short attention span and the movie was extremely slow paced with no real story but it engaged me completely. just an evening at grandpa’s and we don’t even know if she slept in the end. the movie is named beautifully, and i love the set, cinematography, and colour grading, it’s a beautifully full frame. but i would never ever recommend that someone watch this. unless they’re a freak like me.

i related a bit too hard to anxiety and it pissed me off.
and yeah i know it’s a children’s movie but there were way more plot inconsistencies than what disney movies usually have. i had high hopes considering how much i loved inside out 1 but i’m afraid this was another example of milking a franchise.Translated from by
