  Ingredients for my kind of perfect film:
  - a coming of age tale
  - travel related 
  - great soundtrack 
  - cinema about cinema
  - nostalgic themes
  - deserved sentimentality 
  - a story about passion

  Once you mix all of these together you get the triumph that is Cinema Paradiso.

  It always has me in floods of tears, especially right now as it’s themes feel so poignant. During a lockdown when all cinemas are closed there are scenes that feel very close to reality. At the same time it’s essential viewing to really absorb some of the cinema magic we’ve all been missing out on.
