  Disturbing and goofy at the same time, it is clear that Fargo likely inspired many other films to pick up the stylistic brutality that it so easily provides.

  Personally didn’t really find the Minnesota humour funny, and found many of the characters overly flawed and unpleasant. Some terrific cinematography and other great elements, but I think the inspiration Fargo has provided exceeds the substance of the movie itself.
