    Beautiful noir with John Garfield and Shelley Winters. I love these small stories, almost theatre like settings, lots of drama but still relatable. Real good characters.

    Funny, but not thát funny...
    It has some nice moments, but for me the movie missed on pacing and timing. It's a bit of a different style, slapstick mixed with a very dry humor. Reminded me a bit of the Monsieur Hulot movies. It also spoofs a bit french crime movie characters like Le Samouraï.
