  What does it mean to make an adaptation of Dracula/Nosferatu today? I’d venture to say it has to do with bringing a unique approach to the story.

  This movie highlights the horror of the story with it’s striking atmosphere and decent use of jumpscares for a modern “horror” movie. Eggers’ cinematographer once again does tremendous work and so does the composer, you can talk about the technical ecstasy of this movie for a while.

  Laughed my ass off due to the circumstances around trying to watch the movie so cannot fully speak on it’s immersion but i think it works very well, if i see it properly i might even finalise a rating but this is good stuff

  Great technical work and the moments where the narrative kicks in makes everything else fall into place and click and have purpose other than just being pretty abstractions
