I do appreciate this movie and the potential parallels to what is or could be our present/future political climate. At the same time, it felt drawn out. Some scenes felt like they tried too hard to add details that just didn’t hit for me or felt over-emphasized. At times, the acting was kind of bad (except for Robert Pattinson and Mark Ruffalo), despite what my boyfriend says about it being part of the film.
If only they ended this movie with the song Mickey by Toni Basil and I’d give it another star.
