unfunny and not romantic. weird main character complains the whole time gets an undeserved happy ending despite making no personal growth through the film.

this movie was weird. the main character was incredibly unlikable, predatory, abusive, manipulative, etc. which made me wonder why she’s the common thread between the trilogy. when we’re introduced to Sam, Deena throws out horrible manipulative accusations at her (including a biphobic insult), and shortly after, she literally tries to kill Sam. there’s not a single moment in the film where Deena isn’t horribly selfish and rude to her friends, who wind up dying because of her selfishness and inability…
