Oldboy 2003
ok i would give it four stars accounting for the performances, the camera work, the scene compositions and the emotional impact- but I can’t get over some of the writing lol
i don’t ascribe to the idea of plot twists equating good writing. Shock factor is fun, and Oldboy wielded it well, but I don’t feel that the writing fleshed out the character motives all that effectively.
