  Shooting rockets at a tornado from a pickup truck is one of the most American things I've ever seen.
  It's a fun, summer blockbuster that's simply meant to be entertaining which it succeeds in.

  This felt like they started making a spoof but halfway in, they thought it could actually work as a serious movie. But instead of rewriting it, they mixed the spoof part and the serious part. The dialogue is so flat, the actors looking into the camera is just awkward and there's no tension at all. Josh Hartnett tried but couldn't overcome the script.

  This movie is so good that it made me afraid of 8mm film. I know it's the cool thing to do now to hate on this movie, especially since that stupid survey came out. But it hooks you from the start and has phenomenal pacing. Kids are creepy as it is and this makes them even creepier.
