  Did not expect this but thoroughly savored this movie on rewatch and even as an Anora fan, I now strongly believe Kieran Culkin deserves the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

  On rewatch, it’s amazing to see how grounded, funny, and poetic this film is. And genuinely so clever and well-written. The characters feel real and exist in real environments and real people. And it’s a genuinely intriguing and thoughtful on “pain”, whatever that might be.
