this movie was honestly nearly everything i’d want in a horror movie and more, it had funny, over-the-top, satirical, social commentary dialogue and looney tunes evil characters (dennis quaid was playing himself i guess lol), it had a super fascinating plot that executed said plot in a very intelligent and understanding manner, it never felt like this movie was lost or just doing stuff just to do it. everything had a reason and felt very intentional and the acting was…

really thought this was gonna be better considering all the hype (that sounds familiar) but sadly it was just another cheesy popcorn horror that definitely had some great standout moments, specifically anytime samara weaving did anything, but the rest lf the supporting cast was so clearly just phoning it in and giving the cheapest performances ever it was hard to stay engaged, even if this movie was trying to be laughably bad (i don’t think it was) it definitely didn’t even succeed at that because the performances for the most part were just boring bad not funny bad

great sports movie, maybe the best one, but i’m just a sucker for a good biopic with a tight script, awesome pacing, and amazing acting so this just hit home for me and i have to admit that final scene made me tear up a bit, never thought id care that much about a baseball team from oakland but i guess im also kind of a cry baby 😅
