Beautiful, stunning, funny, heart breaking, so deeply moving. Wow wow wow wow wow. Coleman Domingo & Clarence Maclin were unbelievable. I actually can’t believe Maclin wasn’t nominated for best supporting actor at the Oscar’s. He should have WON!!
The way Divine G showed Divine Eye such grace throughout the entire film was really what made it for me. Every interaction they shared was so deep. ALL of the supporting characters were perfect as well. Every time “as himself” came up during the closing credits I smiled. All around a masterpiece!

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I loved seeing Hugh Grant do horror! I appreciate that it started strong right off the bat and didn’t give you a bunch of boring unnecessary backstory. I was def pretty spooked. Abduction story + religion = very scary for me.

I feel weird even rating this because of the subject matter but let’s say the rating is for the general production and style in which the doc was made. The flash backs and different interviews kept me engaged throughout. I honestly felt like it stopped a little short and could have been longer.
