The vibes in this movie were immaculate. Lady Bird was such a full character with so many different sides and I really felt like I understood her. Her friendships, her romantic relationships, and her relationship with her mother were all sooo high school yet so deep. I loved feeling like I could tell she was learning about herself throughout the entire film.
Special nod to the scene where she’s dress shopping w her mom and she says “i wish that you liked me.” And her mom says “of course I love you” and she says “but do you like me” 💔💔💔💔

Beautiful, stunning, funny, heart breaking, so deeply moving. Wow wow wow wow wow. Coleman Domingo & Clarence Maclin were unbelievable. I actually can’t believe Maclin wasn’t nominated for best supporting actor at the Oscar’s. He should have WON!!
The way Divine G showed Divine Eye such grace throughout the entire film was really what made it for me. Every interaction they shared was so deep. ALL of the supporting characters were perfect as well. Every time “as himself” came up during the closing credits I smiled. All around a masterpiece!

Sexy intense delicious vibey fun stressful wow. I literally couldn’t look away from this movie for even a second. I was afraid I’d miss something! I know everyone’s already said it, but the music was incredible. It totally immerses you in this world. The editing, the directing, all top notch.
The sexual tension between all 3 of the characters was palpable. I was anticipating a ton more sex but was shocked by what they pulled off without it. When Tashi…

I feel weird even rating this because of the subject matter but let’s say the rating is for the general production and style in which the doc was made. The flash backs and different interviews kept me engaged throughout. I honestly felt like it stopped a little short and could have been longer.
This is something that’s going to stick with me for a long time. These kids and all fuckin kids deserve so much better. I saw someone post…
