  The story is kind of good actually.
  The acting was solid. Kareena Kapoor and Joydeep Ahlawat did a splendid job. 
  But my goodness, why was it so dark! I was squinting my eyes half the time. Some scenes were so dark, I was only guessing. 
  It's an understandably dark film with very dark tone. But, please don't make the film so dark that viewers fail to comprehend what was even happening on the screen.

  For someone who haven't read the book, the story seemed alright to me.
  The performance of the actors were however not upto the mark. Many times, it felt caricaturish. Especially of Ali Fazal. He is such a good actor, I have no clue why his acting was so loud in the movie. 
  The cinematography also felt over the top for most of the time.
  Anyway, it's an okayish one time watch if you like to watch murder mysteries.
