Dancing in Jaffa 2013
Had to watch this for my latin dance class. Wonderful documentary showcasing how people from different, opposed backgrounds can unite in harmony through the form of ballroom dancing. Pierre is a great human being for doing this for the Jaffa community.

Notting Hill 1999
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
How did no one at the press conference recognize William when he asked Anna those questions? I thought the press took all those photos of him outside his front door just like earlier that same week? I guess William was right when he said people are quick to forget yesterday’s news because no one recognized him at all at the press conference.

The Wild Robot 2024
Missed the first 10 minutes, but I just gotta say, this movie makes you feel things. All sorts of things. From beginning to end, it takes you on an emotional roller coaster with well written characters, especially Roz and Fink. Beautiful-looking movie too, and the animation and art style is stunning. And that score. Oh my goodness. Got goosebumps so many times. The highs are so high, too. When I thought this movie couldn’t get any better, it found a way to keep raising the bar. It’s a wonderful story about hope, selflessness, resilience, and love all within an hour and forty minutes. Bravo.

Black Swan 2010
The only normal thing about this movie was when that pianist walked out mid song while Nina was rehearsing and said “I have a life”
Also Natalie Portman + Mila Kunis is such a power combo
