Cinematic beauty. From the stark black and white gladiator arena to sweeping ocean of desert, the gorgeous costumes, religious fervor and heated passion, and don’t forget to compare Sting and Kyle MacLachlan in Dune 1984 — because this version of the Feyd Rautha vs Paul Atreides is choreographed perfection.
For me this film is all about having young kids in a theatre in Fashion Valley in the early 2000’s and how enraptured and scared they were by this.
