I just want to get something out the way before I give some comments.
This film is nowhere near as good as some audiences are saying it is. Some people/critics have called Ad Astra a masterpiece. It isn’t, plain and simple.
I think people throw around the word masterpiece when critiquing films far too often.
I believe that a masterpiece of film making is when something new is brought to the table that is both fresh and will stick in…
I don’t think I have ever wanted a film to end more than this one. From the laughable performances to the childish dialogue, House of Gucci is overlong and painfully uninteresting. If I was asked to watch it again, smashing my nuts with a hammer would sound more appealing.
At least the costumes looked good. At least they got that right!
