  “… the past is something he could see but not touch. And everything he sees is blurred and indistinct.“ Just like each of those shots obfuscating Chow and Su — a railing in between, meshes of embroidered curtain, hanging clothes on a rack — what they shared, even in the present, always felt at arms length, slipping away. 

  Gonna go yearn for a bit.
