  Couldn't be bothered leaving the city and coming back so caught an impromptu session of Blag Bag
  Fantastic choice as this is a wonderfully tight 90 minute spy thriller. Loved that it's basically an Agatha Christie Spy film in the best possible way.

  Beautiful mesmerising film.
  Absolutely nailed the mannerisms of a cat and it's so impressive just how much this movie manages to convey with no dialogue whatsoever.
  Was completely drawn into this world.
  Wonderful score too.

  The Girl with the Needle 2024

  That was a pretty bleak depressing watch haha.
  It's quite the harrowing watch and can at times feel like misery heaped upon misery. It teeters on the edge of collapsing in on itself but fantastic performances and direction help elevate certain issues with the story.

  Gorgeously shot in black in white. Magnus von Horn creates some striking shots along with a brooding score that cranks up the tension and uneasiness. Makes certain scenes feel like a nightmare come to life.

  The production design is incredible too. This film just looks and feels grimy.
