This is a good movie, is something I hoped I would say once this 2 hour movie reached its conclusion. I for one was sold on this film when I saw the trailers for it but chose to wait to watch it at home instead of going to the theater. Even 30 years later Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves still have great chemistry on screen. The jokes don’t always seem to land but it’s still fun to see those two old friends on screen again.
Disney normally chooses to play it safe with their live action remakes of animated classics. I have found their past attempts at this boring and lacking the heart and soul their original counterparts have. As Mulan is easily in my Top 10 favorite animated classics I was worried at how this movie would be adapted for live action.
