  I guess it's a strong 2-and-a-halfer that kept me more or less engaged, and having seen the later (much superior) Hoffa it's interesting to trace DeVito's development as a director. I swear Hoffa had a bunch of interesting transitions/cuts between scenes too. That said there's a good chance I will forget this movie entirely - weak in too many areas and yet another example of why old comedies just don't work for me.

  I think I'll have to sleep on it before expanding on my initial reaction. Worth the time and there's a really good movie in there somewhere, but while I wasn't put off by the run time (surprisingly) there were a few things that didn't click.

  I mean I haven't seen that many but that instantly went to the top of my musical list. Really enjoyed several parts and I laughed a lot more than I expected I would. Visual treats abound and the cgi is integrated pretty seamlessly
