  I’m not sure why everyone has British accents but the horse going boom boom and Vanessa Kirby make this movie worth the watch

  The “Silence of the Lambs” greatest strength lies in its incredible performances, particularly that of Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Hopkins' portrayal of the intelligent and manipulative cannibal is chilling and unforgettable, making him one of the most iconic movie villains of all time. Foster's performance as Clarice is also outstanding, capturing the character's intelligence, vulnerability, and determination.

  The film's direction and cinematography are also impressive, with Demme's use of close-ups and tight framing adding to the movie's tense and claustrophobic atmosphere (astutely noted by Sir Jacob Boone). The movie's soundtrack, composed by Howard Shore, is also worth noting for its haunting and atmospheric score.
