Went in expecting something schlocky. Got that but had a better time than expected. I appreciate how intentionally goofy this is and how the excessive violence and gore was cartoony.
Benny was oddly charming? What can I say? I’m a sucker for a yandere love story.
Is it a good movie? No. Is it good to luck at? No. Is the tone coherent? Not in the slightest. Did I like watching it? No. Did I appreciate seeing will smith fish get mad horny? Also no.
Despite all that, it had some funny jokes and is not nearly as bad as it could be.
