Fun watch, monsters were a fresh take and very creative. Scenes were not shot like most typical horror monster films with constant cuts and jump scares. The film was not afraid to let you linger on the same shot for an extended period of time, which allowed feelings of unease and dread to seep in. The utilization of handheld shooting and dynamics of camera movement during those shots helped emulate the feel of the post apocalyptic world of the films…
