This looked cool, but was kind of boring and belabored, especially in the second half. Willem's performance made me realize how uninteresting (but technically fine) the rest of the performances were (probably was a directing fault). It was kind of goofy that Orlak had a mustache, no? Some genuinely unsettling images dispersed throughout though.

Damn, what a feel good movie. "There's nothing wrong with the world. All is well. All your ills are in your head, no one is causing you to be ill but you. You just need to work on yourself." The retreat was a perfect encapsulation of how we're told that all our problems are individual when they're really not.
