hmmmm i find this difficult to get behind!
the acting was great & i liked the way it was shot, HOWEVER, i do not understand all the “camp” comments in reviews tbh. i feel gross knowing that this is lightly based on/can be directly compared to the story about Mary Kay Letourneau (which to be fair i did not know about until after i finished the movie). idk. just feels like it’s a little bit of an insensitive take on a very serious case?? the random music outbursts rlly threw me off
made me uncomfortable which i guess is the goal anyways
