That town meeting scene is one just perfect. It sets up everything you need to know and care about in such an entertaining way. You leave the meeting so anxious about what this company is going to try and do to this town that the final half hour are such a surprise.

If you have seen any of Justin’s previous work, you know he has an obsession with a slow pace, he loves drawing out the moment to get every bit of emotion through the screen and I really don’t think I’ve seen it work better than it does here. Maybe it’s the spontaneity of the production, or the closeness him and Warren seem to have but it has made for a beautifully intimate documentary.

Couldn’t really form a sentence as we were leaving. This is a film quite expertly made with the intention to lure you in with these characters that you really want to succeed, and then ensures you are never comfortable once you get to know them.

A really really really interesting depiction of what the life of a refugee is when they are constantly in a state of limbo. Just so heartbreaking and conflicting.
