  Finally saw this after all these years of dying to catch it. Definitely holds up to its reputation as the greatest underdog story ever told, but also DEFINITELY doubles as a horror movie in the case of Adrian. Everyone is legit so awful to her for no reason, even in Rocky’s supposed “charm” to her. They call her names, say she’s shy and dumb, scream at her, Rocky takes her to his apartment with a fucking machete and other sharp objects stabbed into the walls?? That poor woman.

  Rocky beat up Apollo Creed though so that was rad.

  Undeniably great, from its amazing CGI and effects to its story. Only minus half a star from the objectifying writing, but still maybe heralded as the crown jewel of the mid to late 2000s in my eyes. Maybe it’s the nostalgia speaking, but man, Transformers just has this feel to it that continues to age like fine wine. Seriously just feel like I enjoy this more as a relic of my childhood as the years go on.

  Zak told me today that he was making an "executive decision," that I couldn't say no to, in which that as a "cinephile," I had no choice but to watch Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two. I told him in return, he has to watch all of the Despicable Me movies now.
