Interesting concept and execution, really lovely filmic execution with some very beautifully shot scenes. Some pretty good performances across the board, Riz Ahmed rarely misses, Jessie Buckley does fairly well too.
The film reminded me a lot of The Lobster maybe with the madness lowered somewhat. Those Greek directors are definitely up to somethin.

Really really lovely gentle and pretty heartwarming story, incredible performance from Paul Giamatti, perfectly walking the line between being a bit of a bastard and being lovely.
Really nicely slow paced cinematography, let's the whole thing breathe a lot and it observes rather than presents which is nice.
This would be a 5 star if I was very hungover on Sunday.
I suspect that visually, this film deserves perhaps a higher score. I thought it was a really intelligent use of 4:3, and clearly the verticality of the format was fully intentional.
As a movie it is perhaps a little on the nose, but it sparked a lot of conversation between people I know who have watched it, so it's definitely doing something.
Also big wang Barry's accent is gash.
