  Uneventful, repetitive and simple; all words to accurately describe, Where is The Friend’s Home?. Even so, this film is able to convey powerful emotion and immerse the viewer in the mischievous adventure of a young child growing up in the rural town of Koker. Kiarostami’s cinematography techniques of slow-moving camerawork and mundane dialogue translate a sensation of calmness in the viewer whilst bringing attention to the frustratingly incompatible relationship between the older and younger generations of traditional Iranian society.
