Infinity Pool 2023
Possessor relied heavily on other influences (The Matrix, Being John Malkovich, etc) and it worked. It felt like a fresh “yes and” take. Unfortunately, Infinity Pool did not seem to have the same clear influences outside of “rich people really suck don’t they?”
