An absolutely gut wrenching show based on Lali’s testimony.
Though with having to watch it multiple times for my dissertation, there are many many historical inaccuracies that are seen throughout. Among historians this show is very controversial in its depictions of Auschwitz. There are other films that are more true to history that I would recommend (such as Schindler’s list, Son of Saul, etc).
