  everyone was dogging on this one but this was fun? it was a fever dream
  i was invested

  * cinematography was very cool
  * only 2 of the songs hit for me
  * always will be wild that transness must be dumbed down as mtf or ftm for cis people to  begin to conceptualize one aspect for some people. 
  * ended the movie with a discussion on how this movie shouldn’t be representative of transness or of mexican culture, but inevitably american and western viewers will see it as such
  * i have other thoughts, but my phone is at 2%

  hmmmm 
  the three part ken montage saved it;

  class-a actors, yet it paid more attention to aesthetic than content? or at least hamfistedly delivered their message. 
  baby, we know women have impossible roles to play. 😭 perhaps it’s target audience was supposed to be unrealized feminists? idk

  Exciting, fun, and lovely introspection of the main cast of characters. I love a good movie about cats, and the fact that they gave us hope for a new installment of Shrek at the end made it that much better. (:
