A well-made and good looking film by all accounts, but something about the tone of this just failed to captivate me at all.
Is this film noir? If it is then maybe the genre just isn’t for me, I didn’t really resonate with much that was going on. With a cast like this though I can’t say I wasn’t entertained.

The most fun I’ve had at the cinema since Endgame, this is quite the cinematic triumph.
Exploring the ideas of the multiverse was always going to be a challenge, but things are not over-complicated here and the plot and character arcs are still prioritised over too much exposition. The story is fresh and exciting, contrasting against what seemed to be becoming a tired Marvel formula. The emotional beats are also very well blended, jumping from action-packed battles to heartbreaking moments…
