  I've seen this three times now and it's appreciated tremendously in value each time. Considering going the full five stars. It's just about perfect. I especially love how, among so many other things, this film is a coming-of-ager for both son and father.

  I'm absolutely, hopelessly in love with Michael Stuhlbarg. Larry, honey, don't worry, I'll marry you! (Although, he could probably stand to avoid shiksa chaos.)

  The production design and score are incredible, too, although that's nothing surprising given the people involved with this operation. This might be my personal favorite Coen movie, but it's always so hard to choose. The real, eternal uncertainty principle.

  RIP Agatha Christie, you would have loved this movie. There's an exquisite peace in languishing with characters, guessing along with them, wading in doubt, to arrive at the last ten minutes where everything makes sense, and you're finally left with truth.
