Honestly haven’t stopped thinking about this since I stepped out of the cinema. Just masterfully directed, riveting performances, a finale that brings a fresh perspective to the series, incredible score, it’s the best possible version of itself! Some of the traps genuinely made me squirm. Easily one the series’ best!

"The truth will set you free."

It shall indeed. I waited seven years for this movie and I'll be damned if it wasn't worth every single second. Might just be the best entry since the original with a solid mystery, well developed characters, and of course some excellent twists, not to mention Tobin Bell being terrific as per usual, his voice as terrifying as ever. My heart was racing as Charlie Clouser's glorious theme tune kicked in and all was revealed. I really hope Lionsgate have plans to continue the franchise because this was the injection of life that it needed. Loved it!

A shark movie starring Jason Statham and directed by the guy who made National Treasure is the movie I didn’t know I needed. This movie is completely fucking bonkers and I love it! If you haven’t seen the trailers then do yourself a favour and avoid. The Meg has some of the biggest and best “holy shit!” moments you’ll likely see in a blockbuster this year. “Pleased to eat you” is now one of my favorite taglines ever.
