    The Iron Giant

Overall, 1999’s The Iron Giant is one of the best animated films ever. It’s hard to believe I missed out on this one growing up as I would’ve liked this one as a kid, but happy now I got to watch it. The animation is immaculate and I really hope someday it makes a comeback as it’s truly missed. I also love the 1950s Cold War era setting as I’m a sucker for them, and the cast also…

    Everybody Wants Some!!

Overall, 2016’s Everybody Wants Some is a fantastic hangout film from director Richard Linklater. While I don’t think it’s as good as 1993’s Dazed and Confused, it’s still a great underseen film in his catalogue to watch thanks in part to the cast.           Predator is one of the best action films of all time. It’s also a brilliant mix between action and horror much like how Evil Dead II was a great mix between horror and comedy. Arnold Schwarzenegger is as awesome as usual when he plays Dutch Schaefer, a soldier who assigns a crew and they go out into the South American jungles to save the hostages from guerillas all the while being stalked by…

    The Substance

    ★★★★½

Overall, The Substance is one hell of a strange ride. It’s like if you put Jekyll and Hyde together with Death Becomes Her and the body horror of a David Cronenberg film with a story about age and beauty. But it’s pretty damn good with excellent performances by both Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley, great cinematography, and plenty of more any horror fan should love. I can’t really spoil it for you all as you really need to…
