  There's definitely some ballot stuffing going on as the first count is for 108 votes, then later it's 110, and finally 113, which as an allegory for US politics is an hilarious own goal.

I get the angle the film was going for - commenting on how the media frenzy around young female pop stars maturing into the next stage of their careers heavily sexualises them, and what affect this has on their mental state triggering an identity crisis.
