  so full of dread and grief. i started crying at one point, just thinking about mortality and loss. beautiful film. and the pov shots from inside the coffin were incredible.

  Bela Lugosi’s vampire stare is very tempting. I kinda want to be a hot lady in white living in that castle with him for eternity. Van Helsing is the best character tho, dealing with dumb John was his greatest challenge.

  The dreamlike start of the movie really gripped me and I felt just as feverish as the characters. Then as we enter the second act I was both terrified and wanted more! Loved the commitment to the macabre as the story demanded. Also thought there were moments of humor that added dimension to the movie. Really enjoyed!!
